CAD Department

Dr recently created a new “CAD Department” and invested in the software Solidworks. 

The introduction of Solidworks has been an enormous asset to us as communication with customers has been considerably improved whilst speed of the entire design process enhanced. Our Cad software also allows us to foresee problems that wouldn’t previously be discovered until the manufacturing stage.

We can now supply highly detailed and rendered 2D or 3D drawings to ensure the Cylinders we manufacture conform precisely to the customer’s design requirements. These drawings can be supplied to customers in a range of alternative formats including DXF, DWG, PDF and eDrawings.

We also now offer an engineering drafting service and can convert your hand drawings into detailed 2D and 3D drawings for whatever your personal use may be.

Along with technical drawings our design engineer can also supply 3D animations of the cylinders actually working, this helps clarify any issues that may prove to be confusing and identifies potential problems that could arise such as clearances, etc…
